Orange Citrus Dutch Baby

One of my favorite Dutch baby recipes! Typically, I'd add lemon juice after it's baked, but one day I was craving orange and decided to change it up. I tried adding orange juice not only on top after it's baked but also in the batter, and it was a game changer! I use Florida’s Natural in this recipe, which is made with the highest-quality oranges for the best-tasting orange juice you can buy.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Add 3 tablespoons butter to a 10-inch oven-safe pan. Place the pan in the oven to melt the butter while you prepare your batter.
  2. In a medium bowl whisk together milk, Florida's Natural® No Pulp Orange Juice, eggs, vanilla, salt, sugar, and flour. Mix well! TIP: To get it extra fluffy, mix with a hand mixer for about 30 seconds.
  3. Working quickly, pour your thin mixture into the hot pan that was in the oven, making sure your butter is melted completely.
  4. Bake for about 15 minutes undisturbed, meaning don't open the oven, until your Dutch baby is golden brown and puffy.
  5. Remove from the oven and while it's hot, top with your toppings of choice. I like to brush the top with melted butter, Florida's Natural® No Pulp Orange Juice, sprinkle (generously) with powdered sugar and add fresh fruit.
  6. Enjoy while hot!
