Double Chocolate Brownies

I like box brownies as much as the next person but a warm homemade brownie just hits different. Very easy to make and perfectly chocolaty.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Combine all dry ingredients in a medium bowl, the sugar, flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, vanilla, and oil until combined.

  4. Stir in 1/3 dry mixture into wet at a time. Once fully incorporated, fold in chocolate chips.

  5. Grease 8"×8" pan and pour batter into pan. Bake at 350°F for about 22-28 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out mostly clean.

  6. Let cool, or don't... soft, warm brownies are always the best.

  • 1 cup
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup
    flour
  • 1/3 cup
    cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon
    salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon
    baking powder
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 teaspoon
    vanilla
  • 1/2 cup
    canola oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 1/2 cup
    chocolate chips (mini chips are best or roughly chop regular chips)
